Ordering Information
Individuals can order 9th House Press titles through this website. Starting this fall, you'll be able to order through your local independent bookstore, and occasionally through pop-ups and community events via our Street Teams.
Bookstores
In August, we will invite bookstores to visit www.9thhousepress.com/wholesale to set up a trade account. Once set up, orders can be placed through our website, CataList, or Edelweiss. Please note: We do not sell to Amazon or Indigo.
Customer Service
We do not offer customer service over the phone. Please email us at hello@9thhousepress.com to inquire about Media, Review, or Academic copies, or any other questions. We’ll be pleased to help.
Payments
All orders must be prepaid. Credit cards accepted. All Canadian orders are subject to 5% sales tax. In these volatile times, prices are subject to change without notice. Please check our website, CataList or Edelweiss for up to date pricing.
Discounts
Standard trade discount on approved wholesale accounts, any quantity, no returns: 45%
Bulk buys/Book Clubs: 10% off retail price (min.5 copies of the same title). Book club discounts cannot be combined with other offers. Simply add to your cart and the discount will be automatically applied during checkout.
Preorders
When you purchase a pre-order, we will take full payment and, barring unforeseeable emergencies, your item will arrive prior to the listed publication date. You may cancel a pre-order any time prior to shipping. We will give at least 24 hours notice that your order is being prepared to ship.
Shipping
Canada and USA: flat rate $10CAD
International: flat rate $30CAD (two title minimum)
Orders over $100 qualify for free shipping
Returns
All sales are final with no returns, refunds, or exchanges. At our discretion, items may be replaced if damaged in transit. Contact hello@9thhousepress if there is a problem with your order. If the order is shipped into the European Union, you have the right to return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification, but you pay for the shipping costs.
Once we’ve received and inspected your return, we’ll let you know if the refund is approved or not. If approved, we’ll refund your original payment method within 5 business days. Please allow up to 15 business days to see the refund on your credit card statement.
